The park has a variety of activities, ranging from jungle safari to river rafting, bird watching, elephant rides etc.
In the first option, a mid-size four-wheel vehicle is permitted to enter all the buffer zones of the park. In a canter safari, an open-roofed vehicle is used and it's ideal for 15-20 people. The safari is conducted in two shifts by Corbett forest officials.
At Jim Corbett National Park, the Canter Safari is a thrilling and memorable experience for both kids and adults alike. The safari can be enjoyed by anyone above the age 5 years who is fit enough to walk with a group through lush forests, woodlands, grasslands and riverbeds.
The most popular activity in the park is a jungle safari on elephant back or jeep that takes you through dense forests where you might spot leopards, tigers, deer and other animals in their natural habitat.

- The full name, age, and sex of each visitor as printed on their identity cards
- Preferred traveling date & Safari timing (Morning/Afternoon)
- Specific ID card number (Voter Id, Aadhaar No., Driving license No, etc.)
- Safari Entry fee paid in advance
- Passport details for foreign tourists
*Please note that the Jeep Safari & Canter Safari amounts are non-refundable, and visitors must carry the same ID card submitted during the online booking.
- Visitors must obtain entry permits online by providing the above-mentioned details.
- Entry permit to the Corbett National Park is provisional and subject to change or cancellation without prior intimation
- Only registered guides are allowed to join the excursions, and visitors must not try to change them
- Entry to the National Park is strictly prohibited after sunset
- Visitors must not get down from the vehicle during the safari
- No pets are allowed inside the CTR
- All visitors must abide by the rules and regulations of the wildlife protection act
- Jeep and Canter safari at Corbett is conducted only in two shifts – Morning and Evening daily
- Morning safari is conducted from 06:30 AM to 09:30 AM, and afternoon safari time is from 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM
- Visitors must send their passport-size photograph needed for permit registration
- The number of visitors going on safari vehicles should not exceed the limit as they will be stopped at the entry gate
- Visitors are responsible for their own luggage during the safari, and no safari driver or guide is liable for the same
